Day 3 - China

In China, the only legal Church is controlled by the Communist government where they control Churches, watch their activities, and make sure the Church is abiding by the rules which don't allow Christians to worship and gather freely. Due to this, many Christians are a part of underground house Churches in China where they meet in secret, and many Chinese Christians do not have their own Bible. Praise

• Praise God for the “Back to Jerusalem” vision in which the Chinese church aims to send up to 100,000 missionaries from China throughout the unreached world.
• Praise God for an increasing number of believers emerging within the Communist Party.
• Praise God that Hong Kong has a unique privilege to have open, evangelical church services for adults and children that are unrestricted by the Mainland Chinese government.

Prayer

• Pray for the eyes of the people to be opened and to recognize that folk religion and ancestor worship are not the power they seek, Jesus us.
• Pray strength for house church leaders as they endure persecution.
• One fifth of the world lives in China; Pray for more workers to go into the field and serve as missionaries in China.
