Grief Kintsugi Workshop

About this Event

"Mending Broken Pottery"

We're partnering with a certified Kintsugi facilitator from Academy Kintsugi

The ancient Japanese art of Kintsugi — which repairs broken ceramics with gold to make them stronger and more beautiful — is a powerful metaphor for grief and our lives after loss. Kintsugi is a technique of mending broken pottery, using lacquer and metallic powder, originating in Japan. The art of Kintsugi shows us how to embrace imperfections while it invites us to see a profound vision of healing.

No prior experience is necessary.

There is a $10 charge for resources for the workshop.

We will provide all materials needed. Just bring yourself and be ready to try something new and enjoy the time with others who have experienced loss.

You will walk away with something of great value that you’ll cherish as a reminder of the hope we have for healing in Christ.
